For the Kids

Knight-Thon is an annual dance marathon hosted by UCF to raise money for the Children’s Miracle Network! I was so excited to partake in this amazing philanthropic event. I stood alongside 10 other Volunteer UCF members for 22 hours all in solidarity for those children fighting childhood cancer and diseases. This was an awe-inspiring event where we got to hear stories of some of the miracle children and interact with them. We stood for those kiddos that can’t and not only stand but…DANCE! We had a “morale dance” that happened every hour on the hour for the whole time Knight Thon was happening. The morale staff taught us the ten minute dance to begin our time at Knight Thon then we continued to dance it the whole night! I was blow away to see the mass amount of people there dancing, fighting and raising money for such an amazing organization!
